Sheriff K-9 Dyro Retires After a Decade of Service

During today’s Commissioners’ Court meeting, officials recognized Sheriff K-9 Dyro for his retirement following 10 years of dedicated service to the county. Dyro served alongside his longtime handler, Sergeant Alfonso Salinas, and was honored for his contributions to public safety and law enforcement throughout his career.

As part of the recognition, it was announced that Dyro will spend his well-earned retirement at home with Sgt. Salinas, continuing the bond they built through years of service together. County officials and colleagues expressed their gratitude for Dyro’s commitment and faithful service.
