IBWC Levee Projects to Strengthen Flood Protection

Local officials joined Cameron County Drainage District No. 6 for the groundbreaking of the International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC) Levee Projects 1-4, a major infrastructure effort aimed at improving drainage and reducing flooding concerns across the area to offer increased protection for residents in Santa Rosa, La Feria and western Harlingen.
