Rodriguez seeks voter approval to LFISD School Board Place 3

LA FERIA– Alfonso Rodriguez says he’s working hard to get elected because he cares about the students and the District.

And with two days left to decide the voters of La Feria will have had their chance to fill the open Place 3 seat vacated by Mike Martinez, who did not seek re-election. Rodriguez is running against Hugo Garcia.

Rodriguez is running with the slogan: “serving our community and our children; experience matters.”

Rodriguez says his experience working for the city, guiding his children through school towards graduation at La Feria High School and ideas for the District will be a valuable on the school board.

Rodriguez is an employee of the City of La Feria and hold the position of Public Works Director.

He has been a resident of the city of La Feria for more than 30 years and has volunteered to help many community events and programs.
